Raise the reward for the safe return of Harley

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Vicki. I am starting this gofundme to help my sister Anne Gallup raise the reward offered for her dog Harley's safe return to her rightful owners.

A little background in case this is the first time you are hearing about this:

Since February 20th, Family Day, Anne has been joined by family, friends and complete strangers from Vancouver Island to search for her beloved chocolate Labrador Retriever.

Harley, a 5 1⁄2 year-old spayed female, disappeared as her family neared the end of their early morning walk at Englishman River Provincial Park in Errington. Anne had dropped Harley’s short blue leash to pick up her tired toddler while holding the leash of her mother’s dog. When she looked up again, Harley had vanished.

When Harley did not respond to Annes calls, she panicked. Had Harley fallen down the steep cliff into the river? If Harley had run the remaining short distance toward their vehicle, why didn’t she return? Anne soon had frightening visions of Harley’s leash being tangled or worse. Anne quickly phoned our parents for help, who live nearby in the home where Anne and I had grown up. While waiting for our parents’ arrival, other park visitors quickly offered Anne their assistance. Within hours, info of Harley’s disappearance was widely posted on local social media sites, including AARF and FLED, and organized searches were underway.

Unfortunately, an extreme wind storm approached and it was followed by a heavy snow storm. The weather did not deter us from search efforts, plus Harley’s growing band of volunteers - we love you guys!

There have been large-scale organized searches. Arrowsmith Search and Rescue and Errington Fire Department provided assistance in dangerous terrain, PQB News and Chek News provided coverage, park rangers and RCMP were notified, while tracking dogs, scent trails, and cameras were utilized. Furthermore, dozens of local veterinary clinics and animal rescue groups were alerted, local and regional businesses and governments have notified their staff, daily searches along with an expanding poster campaign have continued, and much more. There is even a Facebook group dedicated to help find Harley.

Despite these extraordinary efforts, no physical evidence that Harley is deceased has been found, nor have there been any verified sightings of Harley. This leads us to believe she has been stolen. We just want to see Harley back with her family that loves her.

Any unused reward money will be donated to the non-profit organizations that have generously supported our family's search for Harley (i.e., Arrowsmith Search and Rescue, Errington Fire Department, FLED, and AARF).

Anything helps even if all you can do today is share this gofundme.
