We’re reviving Liberty Theatre — and we need your help to open the doors.

Catskill Arts & Theatre Space (CATS) is a brand new community nonprofit in Liberty, NY. We’re in the early stages of turning the historic Liberty Theatre into a vibrant, inclusive space for performance, youth programming, workshops, and connection.

But first — we need to cover the basics.

We’re raising funds for startup costs including:

Nonprofit incorporation & IRS filing fees

Insurance (required for programming and events)

Website, social media, and advertising, early outreach, flyers, signage, and materials

Cleaning, supplies, and minor space prep

We’re not asking for millions — just enough to get us off the ground.

We’ve already begun building our leadership, generating buzz, and connecting with the community. But we can’t do this alone. Your donation — whether it’s $5 or $500 — brings us one step closer to creating something incredible for Liberty and the Catskills.
