Raise money for Weldmar hospice

Donation protected
Hi :-)
So this May, I have signed up to the Jurassic Coast challenge….58km of the Jurassic coast line hills!!!
I’ll be walking it with my friends Liz and Tracy and we are all raising money for the local hospice here in Dorchester, Weldmar, who cared for both my brother-in-law John in September, and her Mum Rose, in December.
Not only do they care for their patients, but they helped look after all of us during those awful times. John was an inpatient, and was given the lovely family room, so we could all spend time in there, together with the children, and even his puppy was able to be there with him too (as well as a big tv so he could watch the rugby!)

Liz’s family were looked after by the Weldmar at Home team, who gave them outstanding care when they needed it.

Walking this distance is definitely a challenge for me, not to mention the hills! But I’d like to think that if he’s watching, John would laugh at my latest crazy challenge :-)

Please help support this wonderful place. Even if it’s just a small
donation, every bit will go to them, as I have self funded the JCC :-)

Thankyou xxx

More information Hospicecare: Weldmar Hospicecare is an independent charity providing specialist care for adults in Dorset with a life limiting illness, such as cancer, Motor Neurone Disease or heart disease, and support for their loved ones. Our compassionate approach supports patients and their families in their own homes, in the local community, and in our hospice. All services are provided free of charge. 20% of our funds are provided by the NHS - we must raise the remaining £26,000 a day with the support of the local community.
