SKYDIVE Fundraiser - Raising Money For Trauma Charity's

Hi

My name is Rachael Leader and I am raising money for The Bodie Hodges Foundation and Right 2 Thrive, by doing a SKYDIVE!!

Both charity's help heal trauma. A word I'm unfortunately over familiar with.

I shockingly lost my 2 year old daughter and her father in 2023. Sadly, I've a history of trauma...through failed relationships, parts of my childhood, adolescence and as a young women. Having unresolved trauma weighs you down after a while. And I see how leaving trauma unresolved ruins lives.

So I made a promise to my daughter Oria, that I would love, and live, life to the fullest. I'm trying to be an example of healing the traumas, and facing fears head on.

All whilst hoping I can help and encourage others to keep going, even through the struggle.

We going to be ok.

The Bodie Hodges Foundation are an amazing charity in Leicester that supports families that have lost children. The staff at Bodie Hodges have been brilliant in supporting me through the most tragic and horrifc time. They have so much more to offer than just talking therapy. It's a wonderful charity, and a true example of turning a tragic experience, into a healing space, for the local community. Thank you.

My name is Leah Golde and I want to raise money for the charity in Kenya called Right 2 Thrive. Right 2 Thrive has given the children the opportunity to have a chance at the beautiful life they deserve.

Janet, the founder of Right 2 Trive is an amazing human, who has adopted 9 of the children from the project, to give them extra support. She also funds a lot out of her own pocket, as it's a non-profit organisation, that relies on sponsors which are not always available.

After witnessing the struggle that these children face for simple things in life due to immense poverty, Janet created a project to help make a change to a young persons life. And thats how Right2Thrive was born.

Right 2 Thrive's passion for wellbeing, empowerment, and education are key elements to breaking the cycle of multi-generational poverty and trauma.

We will complete the Skydive in Dubai.
