My name is Daylon, I am nearly 14 and in Year 9. I am completing my DOfE Bronze award and for my volunteering requirement, I have chosen to support the charity Edukid.

Edukid is a Christian UK registered charity that helps to remove the barriers to education faced by children living in poverty and conflict across the world. Our vision is of a world free from the effects of war and poverty, where each child has an education and opportunities to fulfil their dreams.

Edukid also support each child to have access to clean water and sanitation. I want to raise awareness and money to contribute to this great cause.

As such, on the 5th April I will be running and walking 10K to raise money for this wonderful charity.
