"Once again Northowram needs to raise funds to ensure our village has a Christmas Tree to enjoy this festive season.

The Northowram Scarecrow Event Committee has approved funds to cover the cost of and placement of a tree - approximately £1,400 – but this takes away a significant portion of money that could otherwise support other community projects within the village.

We are asking the residents and businesses of the village to help by donating any amount (small or large) to assist us in keep our costs down. If we are fortunate enough to raise more than we spend the extra funds will be set aside specifically for next year’s Christmas tree.

Together let’s keep the Northowram Christmas tree lit!
