Raise money for our mental health peer support group

Hi my name's Andy . I'm a 35 year old from Grangemouth in the Falkirk area,Scotland . I have been suffering with my mental health since 2012 where it started off as really bad anxiety and then onto low mood/depression. This was due to a brief break up with my partner who have sorted things out with her and 15 years later are still together and stronger then ever. I couldn't go out to Asda without thinking people were looking at
me,talking about me . I couldn't sleep at night due to overthinking laying in bed with the
sweats it was horrible. Then in 2013 we found out Danielle was pregnant but things didn't work out with way we would have liked . At 23 weeks pregnant Danielle had to give birth to our beautiful baby boy Ollie, but sadly he didn't make it and passed away due to a problem with his heart called hypo plastic left heart syndrome where the left side of his heart didn't form properly. This is where my low mood came in to full force having to bury one of your kids is the hardest thing in this world . We had already had our beautiful daughter Lily so I tried to focus as much I could on being a dad to her but found it extremely hard. We also went on to have another 2 girls Charlotte and Olivia . I seeked help from the doctors and was referred to FDAMH in Falkirk the district association for mental health . I had counselling twice to help me recover from losing my son which I found talking helped me alot . In 2022 I had an idea of setting up a mental health peer support group as there was nothing in my local area (grangemouth) and called it Come Chat About That. I reached out to the local community hall for costings to hire a room or safe space to hold meetings every second week to invite people along who suffer with there mental health . This space would be somewhere to come along have a cuppa and a chat without any Judgement or any pressure to talk and strictly private and confidential. There was Andy's man club out there already that provided support to men only , so I wanted to be different. My group is for men and women 18+ as much as the stigma is around men, women also suffer. The group has now been running for nearly 3 years and we have a safe space every second week at the Grangemouth railway club where it is free of charge and the kettle is always on for us. We are now reaching out to all you beautiful people for your help. Myself (Andy chairman of Come chat about that ) and Jamie our treasurer have set out a challenge for ourselves . That challenge is to run around the local stadiums on July the 19th in order to raise funds for our mental health peer support group with half going to SANDS the baby loss charity. The challenge is around 10 miles starting at the Falkirk stadium then onto stenhousemuir stadium to Camelon juniors stadium onto Falkirk to Falkirk football clubs old football ground brockville now Morrisons to the old east Stirlingshire footie ground behind the retail park and then back to Falkirk stadium to finish. I hope you can all help us out anything at all would be much appreciated. I must add Come Chat About That is a non profit organisation also . Thanks in advance .
