Raise money for Mind in memory of Samantha Lee

Hello, my name is Adele and I'm doing this almost 6mile/2hr walk fundraiser to raise money for the charity Mind in memory of my beautiful sissy Samantha who sadly lost her battle to her mental health 8 months ago on Sept 8th 2024. (Ill be doing the walk on her anniversary in a few months) Since then her best friend Hayley has done a charity walk in Feb and I want to do the same. Anyone who knew Sam, even briefly, knew she was the light in everyone's life. Sam was known for her loud happy bubbly personality, the love she had for her family, friends and daughters was huge. She would have amazing parties inviting everyone so nobody was left out. I met Sam when we were little kids at school and having 4 brothers, I knew I'd found my soul sister. She called my dad her dad and was immediately part of the family. Like sisters do we'd have our fallouts over the years but always came back together with a bottle of wine (yeah.. Just 1 hehe) hundreds of people were left devastated by Sam's passing and saying goodbye to her has been by far the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my 33yrs of being here.

Now here is the challenge - me. I have a ruptured disc in my spine, I have fibromyalgia, I also have osteoarthritis and I'm in constant pain and struggle to walk some days, this is a MASSIVE challenge for me but doing it for Sam and Mind is pushing me to do it. I plan to walk, hobble, limp and crawl my way to hit my target for her. Any donation no matter how small is hugely appreciated. Any messages of support are also welcomed ☺️ wish me luck!
