Raise money for Family’s faced with Childhood Cancer

So as everyone knows Daniel was diagnosed with Burkitts lymphoma in July last year and had gone through 6 months of intensive treatment to get rid of his disease which has working amazingly apart from how sick it left him when reciving treatment which obviously we just had to deal with in order to get him better , Daniel is thankfully back to good health and now currently going for monthly check ups at clinic for scans etc

The next and final thing we need to do now is give back to all the amazing charities that has helped us while we were going though the worst time of our lives and made it that bit easier we couldn’t of done it without them and I mean that!!

Firstly the Children’s Cancer Charity

Who give Daniel endless amounts of toys, gifts & entertainment on every occasion making sure Daniel and the children never missed out on things like seeing Santa and much more while staying in the ward and having Ellie the play specialist there all weekend to entertain them who Daniel absolutely loves Ellie became Daniel’s best friend literally , she goes above and beyond for every child we are so so grateful

Secondly Angel wishes

Angle wishes charity is run by a beautiful lady who started her own charity to help children and family’s while going through their journey as she herself has lost two young children to childhood cancer and she wants them always wants them to be remembered through Angel wishes this woman is a total inspiration and all the support that she gives the family’s from being firstly diagnosed right through the journey is incredible even just to chat to with her helped me I mind first chatting with her on the phone and we spoke for over an hour and as lost and sad as I was I took in every word she was saying she give me hope and reassurance right from that first phone call she’s an amazing woman and all her help doesn’t go unnoticed

Thirdly Young live’s cancer - Paul’s house

This was our home away from home from the day Daniel started treatment to the day he finished and rang the bell we called Paul’s house our home we had everything we needed to sleep , eat , take some time out and have our family down to stay with us and support us through everything , as everyone knows Evie was a small baby only 18 weeks old when Daniel got diagnosed and took to Belfast and to be able to have her down there staying with us most of the time was a god sent I could of imagined being down there and not being able to see Evie and bond with her as she was the only one who give me comfort and took my mind off everything else around me when we got Paul’s house the first thing they done was put a cot up in our room from Evie also the staff loved having Evie around , even just to have our family down to see us for the day and able to have somewhere to come and sit with them as it was just located out the back of the children’s hospital I truly don’t know what we would of done if we didn’t have this the people that run this place and all the staff are amazing and just became like family , again I am forever grateful

So this is the three charity’s this we want to give back to as things would of been totally different without them all. The sad thing is I never heard of any of these charity’s until Daniel did get sick I didn’t know they existed and most people probably don’t. All I ask is that if yous can no matter how big or small please try and help us raise as much as possible to give back to each of them we never in a million years thought that this was something that we would of had to go through nor does anyone like your child being sick is the worst but having to rely on doctors and nurses to save your child and try get them better is the most horrendous thing anyone would have to endure but with all these charity’s and the people behind them that horrible journey become that bit easier and the support you receive is on another level.
