Raising money for women and children in Sattenapalle, India

Hello, our names are Olivia and Scarlett, we are fundraising for a children’s home in Sattenapalle, India. We will be visiting them with the charity Adventure Aid uk on the 25th October to the 1st November. The money we raise will be spent on food, clothing and shelter for the 30 children ages 5 - 18.

This eight day trip will enable us to help fund the development of a playground for the children, as well as a number of smaller projects in the town and surrounding villages.

While we are there we are going to further develop our vocational training projects to young women and mothers in Sattenapalle. They will be provided with equipment and training for sewing to enable them to be able to earn an income to support their families and provide their children with a better education.
