Hi my name is Timothy and I'm trying to raise funds to save our sailboat the Edna Mc. She is a beautiful 22' Columbia sailboat and she has been part of our family since my father was born in 1970. Growing up, my father was very close with his grandfather(my great grandfather) and together, they made many memories sailing together. I never had the privilege of knowing my great grandfather, but his love of sailing was passed on from him to my father and his dad, and from them to my borthers, sister, and I. Our family has spent almost every summer since the passing of my great grandfather working on the Edna Mc, and sailing her in the lakes of Colorado. However, there is no hiding the wear and strain of the boat's 52 year life, and thus she is no longer capable of sailing. We need help to pay for repairs to the fiberglass body or we will have to say goodbye to the sailboat that carried four generations of our family, and the last thing my dad has to remember his time with my grandpa and great grandpa.
