As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh, my name is Rihan Khan the grandson of Late Mohammed Abdul Khalique.

I pray this message finds you in the best of health and Imaan. I am raising funds to build a *Borehole Well* in the name of my beloved grandfather, *Mohammed Abdul Khalique* (may Allah shower abundant mercy on him), as a Sadaqah Jariyah.

This well will provide clean drinking water to a village in Uganda, Sierra Leone, or Kenya, benefiting up to 1,000 people for up to 10 years, in shā Allāh. Water is one of the greatest gifts we can give, and the reward continues even after we pass away.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“When a person dies, all their deeds come to an end except three: Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.”

(Sahih Muslim, 1631)

He also said:

“The best charity is giving water to drink.”

(Sunan Ibn Majah, 3684)
