Physically Active Youth (PAY) is a nonprofit community-based program dedicated to empowering underprivileged children and youth in Katutura through a holistic approach to development. For 21 years, PAY has provided a safe and supervised after-school environment that addresses physical health, academic support, and personal growth. By fostering citizenship, respect for human rights, and mutual responsibility, PAY has become a leading youth organization in Namibia, contributing to both community and national development.

Despite its impact, PAY faces significant challenges in sustaining its operations. Consistent funding for operational costs remains a struggle, forcing the organization to rely on minimal allowances for staff. This has led to high staff turnover and limits PAY’s ability to employ qualified professionals, which affects the quality of its programs. To continue supporting over 120 children annually and to ensure the sustainability of its mission, PAY is fundraising to cover essential operational costs.
