Running a half marathon to raise funds for Kidney Care UK

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Kidney Care UK and every donation will help. I will be running the Robin Hood Half Marathon this month on 29th September 2024

I support my Mum who has Kidney Failure. I help prepare her meals specifically for her renal diet. She has dialysis 3 times a week which is so draining for her but it is helping to keep her alive for longer. I witness her good days and bad. Days with complications and days where she is lively and her usual happy smiley self. Lately she has been so unwell and when I went to visit her during her last hospital stay earlier this month due to dialysis complications, I was speaking with other patients on the same ward suffering with kidney disease. Some are not so fortunate to have help and support from their families which is so saddening to hear.

Kidney Care UK are a great charity supporting patients and families going through the same. They help with providing resources, financial help and renal counselling so no one with kidney disease goes through it alone.

Please help with any donations to help support this charity that has been such great support for my Mum.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated
