Hi everyone

This is Arria from Arria Music.

My new community project "Mariners Music" aims to bring community together in song.

I will be teaching musical instruments, singing and sing craft to all ages at the Camelon Social Club on Tuesdays from 7th October onwards (6-9pm assorted classes)

These classes will be free with options for people to donate, but it will not be mandatory because I want no one to feel left out or that they can't afford it.

Participants will have the chance to learn songs about their local community, improving local footfall, tourism and commerce as well as a healthy sense of pride in where we are from.

We will then tour round Falkirk performing these songs at local shops and sites mentioned in the songs and engaged with our community directly

I have about ten guitars and four keyboards and am sick of funders rejecting my project for one reason and asking for more info.

I know this is a great initiative and will put my own money into building it's foundation and see where the wind and water will carry it.

We need more instruments and venue costs so that we can continue to expand and offer all inclusive workshops that benefit everyone.
