Hi everyone,

My name is Leah, and I’m a secondary school teacher with a big passion for helping young people reach their potential. This year, I’ve been given the chance to volunteer at Cara Girls Rescue Centre in Kenya, a safe haven for young girls and women. The centre is home to girls who have experienced hardship at such a young age, and it provides them with safety, education, and the chance to dream of a brighter future.

As a teacher, I know how powerful encouragement and education can be. While I’m there, I’ll be teaching, mentoring, and simply being a positive presence for the girls—reminding them that they matter and that their futures are worth fighting for.

I’m fundraising to help provide resources that will directly support the girls at the centre. Any contribution, big or small, will help me make a real difference in their lives.

Thank you so much for your kindness and support—it means the world to me and to the girls I’ll be working with.❤️
