My name is Godfrey Thirston Izimba, and I am raising funds to build schools in the remote villages of Jinja, Uganda. As someone who grew up in Uganda and has personally witnessed the challenges many children face in accessing quality education, this cause is deeply personal to me.

In many parts of rural Jinja, children walk long distances about 2 hours to reach overcrowded classrooms and many also study under the tree and sometimes the weather is bad, in rainy season no classes go on—or worse, have no access to formal schooling at all. Without basic educational facilities, these children are denied the opportunity to learn, grow, and create better futures for themselves and their communities.

That’s why I’m committed to helping build safe, accessible, and well-equipped schools right where they are needed most.

The funds raised will go directly toward:

• Purchasing land and construction materials

• Hiring local laborers and builders

• Providing school supplies like desks

• Creating a sustainable learning environment for hundreds of children
