<div>In many parts of rural Jinja, children walk long distances about 2 hours to reach overcrowded classrooms and many also study under the tree and sometimes the weather is bad, in rainy season no classes go on—or worse, have no access to formal schooling at all. Without basic educational facilities, these children are denied the opportunity to learn, grow, and create better futures for themselves and their communities.
