Raise A Farm For us All
***UPDATE! WE MET OUR GOAL!!!***
Thank you everyone who supported us!!! We appreciate so much that this project has support from so many communities. In addition to GoFund Me we have been reaching out to philanthropists. We are so grateful that one of them responded after seeing the support that all of you have shown. Covid has thrown us into a transition year that has made us redesign our business model. We're leaving the fundraiser up because during the transition period, we will still need funds for operating expenses. Our tractor needs work as well as our 200 year old barn and farmhouse. Thanks again!
Join us for our farm benefit this weekend August 28 - 29, Eternal Prana,

Greetings from A Farm For All!
As we write this… we’re sitting on our organization’s 50 acre property appreciating the bird songs, the splash of the waterfall, the fragrance of all of our herbs in full bloom, while we brainstorm about how we can continue to share all this beauty...
That’s the mission of our organization; To provide access to land to under served communities. Right now we are looking for your support to rebuild from the difficult times of 2020. Our project during Covid-19 took a serious hit - our Microgreens Farm (which pays a large portion of our operating budget) lost 17 accounts due to the mandated shut-down. The pandemic also eliminated our ability to host events on the property. We appealed to have our property taxes lifted as a federally recognized 501(C)3 Not For Profit but were denied by the town, and the Review Board. All of this contributed to the accumulation of back-taxes; we owe the government roughly $25,000 by October 1st. The money raised here will be used to pay our debt and rebuild the stability on land which has made our project possible for the past 6 years.
Benjamin Schwartz founded A Farm For All! in 2015. Before we owned this property, the farm was renting from 5 different landlords… at the same time. Creating A Farm For All! land project has made it possible to host more groups without access to land, grow produce to share with our partners in economically disadvantaged communities and neighbors in the Harlem Valley, as well as host more educational workshops and community events.
Our volunteer staff has been providing education about and access to high quality hard to find produce, including 20 different varieties of medicinal herbs, microgreens and vegetables to communities all over the Bronx, the isolated communities of eastern Dutchess county, and many communities in between. We have hosted countless on-farm activities including Harvest Festivals, Herb Classes, Potlucks, Indigenous led ceremonies, Contra Dances, Gatherings, Farm Work Days, Wildcrafting Walks, Camping, Mushroom Classes, Internships, Microgreens Classes, and Native Drum making workshops. We also help sustain a Women run coffee and herb farm-cooperative on A Farm For All land in Santa Barbara, Honduras.
These valuable initiatives are sustained by our team which consists entirely of volunteer effort from community members, experienced farmers, and Not-For-Profit administrators.
We NEED YOUR HELP to get through this tough spot.
*PLEASE donate and spread the word*
Currently we are establishing our network of mentors who are aiding us in our transformation to rebuild a sustainable business plan that will address the future of our taxes and operating budget.
