Hello family and friends,

I am excited to announce that my dedication to treating the upper extremity as a Certified Hand Therapist has offered me the opportunity to travel to Bolivia with a hand surgeon that I am professionally affiliated with. In November, a small team of clinicians will travel to volunteer our medical skills and expertise to provide upper extremity care to members of the Santa Cruz community. We will be providing surgical, post-surgical, and conservative management interventions over the course of a week to individuals who otherwise would not be able to receive such care due to financial constraints and/or geographical location. As medical mission volunteers, we are asked to fund our participation. Travel expenses, including airfare, visas, immunizations, lodging, supplies, etc., are quite costly. Because I am determined to not miss out on this amazing opportunity, I am asking for help to cover some of my expenses . I know many of us are financially stretched at this time, so any amount is greatly appreciated. No amount is too small.
