Raidyn’s Medical Journey

Hi, my name is Karlee. I am Raidyn’s auntie and Kaylee’s sister! As many of you know, our sweet boy arrived on 6/7/23 and he is just perfect! Unfortunately, our boy has had a hard start to life and has endured 3 weeks in the NICU and PICU so far. Raidyn has fought through poor lung development, kidney failure, heart failure, fluid leaks, blood leaks, and life support. He is now more stable than he has been and we are so so grateful for that! This has definitely been a roller coaster of emotions for everyone. On behalf of the family, I want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone for covering our boy and the family in prayers. They are truly appreciated and did not go unnoticed. Thank you all for continuing to pray all hours of the day and night when we were begging for them. There is no doubt that this child is a result of God’s faithfulness to his promises and miracle working. Thank you to everyone that has reached out and asked how they could help. Our first and foremost ask is still for prayers. Raidyn has a very long journey ahead of him with many unknowns at this point. Everything is very much day by day and prayers are still needed to get our boy through. Medical costs, travel expenses back and forth from the hospital, and eating on the go are becoming a bit of a struggle financially. We debated on whether or not to create a go fund me, but have had people ask where/how they can give. Therefore, if you feel inclined to donate to Dalton, Kaylee, Rhyatt, and baby Raidyn, this is the spot to do so. Again, we ask for prayers above all, but are very grateful to those that wish to contribute funds as well. Any excess funds will be donated to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and their amazing staff.
