Rahmatul Yateem Ramadan and School Funds 2025

Assalamu alaykum my name is Samar and for the past 5 years I have been involved with an orphanage in Uganda called SISU orphanage via one of its govenors Sister Nadia Jaffer.

Alhamdulillah we have been able to help them a great deal.

In the last year there have been some major changes in the orphanage due to some very serious problems in administration. Firstly the orphanage in Uganda previously known as SISU has split into 2. The majority (40 children from SISU) and some new intakes are now registered as Rahmatul Yateem. "Rahmatul Yateem" meaning Mercy for the Orphans. This is because of a split in the governors who originally started SISU Orphanage. The new name Rahmatul Yateem was registered in March of 2024. Please see photos.

Furthermore the orphanage has lost donors because some of them wanted se**al favours from some of the girls they were sponsoring. The girls refused and made a complaint to sister Nadia who runs the orphanage and she of course supported and protected the girls under her care from the evil predators. As a result all funding from the predators has ceased alhamdulillah

Right now we are trying to help pay for the outstanding childrens school fees and also raise enough money for Ramadan and Eid insha Allah.

Lets help them for the sake of Allah. They will need out continuous support insha Allah.
