Ramadan - Generous Heart 2022

 

The Rahmat Foundation is excited to share with You the Ramadan - Generous Heart 2022 Campaign.

 

Please contribute generously to help feed the hungry this Holy month!

“Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person, without any reduction in his reward.” [At-Tirmithi] 

 

Since 2013, the Rahmat Foundation has raised funds to support the community's most vulnerable members. 

 

Every Ramadan, our volunteers deliver food packages filled with essential grocery products to disabled people, widows and the elderly.

 

Food packages are delivered across many regions in Kyrgyzstan including but limited to Bishkek, Osh, Talas, Issyk Kul, Aravan, Kara-Suu, Nookat, Jalal-Abad, Bazar-Korgon, Tokmok and other cities. 

 

One food package costs approximately 2000 KGS (appr. $25.00) 

 

The content of one package includes daily essentials such as rice, dates, waffles, halva, vegetable oil, flour, honey, tea, sugar, pasta etc. 

 

The amount of the donation is the private matter of each individual. 

 

Whatever cause matters most to you, give as much as you can afford this year – even if it’s just $10. No matter how insignificant you think it is, your donation will be of substantial importance to those in need. 

 

Alhamdulillah, the Ramadan campaign kicked off with 87 food packages in 2013 and has steadily increased since then thanks to your generous support and trust in us.  :prayer:

 

You have brought joy and happiness to thousands of families ever since the launch of first campaign.

 

In 2021 we delivered food packages to 1100 households all across Kyrgyzstan with the barakah of the Creator!

 

Within 9 years, the total donation amount has reached more than 100,000 USD (8 mln KGS), and more than 5000 households have been assisted with food packages during Ramadan. 

 

With God's Mercy and Your Generous Support, inshaAllah, this Ramadan, our goal is to bring happiness and warmth to 2000 families. 

 

This year the number of people who need our humanitarian aid has increased multifold due to economic inflation, international conflicts and the novel coronavirus.

 

As food prices continue to rise around the world, our brothers and sisters in Kyrgyzstan are struggling to afford even the most simplest of foods. 

 

Immigrant workers working in Russia cannot send much money to their families in Kyrgyzstan because they are in a bad situation themselves due to economic hardships.

 

Your contributions and support are significant to achieving our mutual goal this Ramadan.
