Raegen's Story

On July 4th 2022, we took our healthy, vibrant 10 year old daughter to the emergency room for a long lasting headache and began living every parents worst nightmare.

Raegen has spent most of her years as a competitive gymnast and soccer player, being a friend to all and a light in everyone's life who meets her. Shortly after her 10th birthday and the end of 4th grade, when every kid was planning their summer break, Raegen was laying on the couch with a headache.

Raegen was quickly admitted to Connecticut Children's Medical Center on the 4th of July, and quickly diagnosed with an inoperable form of Glioblastoma Multiforme, stage 4 cancer.

As parents, we were then told, our youngest child, has a less then 5% chance of survival. With chemo and radiation, her life expectancy is 12-15 months.

She will never see her 13th birthday, go to prom, have a boyfriend, be the competitive college gymnast she dreams of being, grow up with her friends or experience life.

Our goal, as a family, is to be able to give her as much life and as many experiences as we can for the short amount of time our little girl has left.

Raegen dreams of going to Disney and Universal studios, swimming with dolphins, seeing tigers and riding jetskis. Raegen is an avid food lover and is currently looking forward to eating fried oreos and seeing Brantley Gilbert in September at the Big E.
