Many of us know Rae - manager of The Living End, 360 and countless others, relentless crusader for wildlife, and all-around Superwoman. 

Her passion for wildlife is such that Rae and her partner, Sayo, moved interstate to the Far South Coast of New South Wales. 

They purchased land to continue with their passion of saving wildlife, especially the local wallabies and kangaroos. Their intention was to set up a shelter, the Wallaby Ridge Wildlife Shelter, to assist in their work.

However, life is cruel and despite all of the incredible work Rae and Sayo have done (for wildlife, friends, family and the music industry), they lost all of their possessions in a devastating fire, less than a week after they moved in.

This page is designed to raise funds to help Rae and Sayo get back on their feet, and continue to assist with their goals of protecting and rescuing wildlife from their local area.

Who am I / Where am I / How do I know Rae? 
I'm Caitlin W.  I live in Cairns, QLD and have known Rae for many years through her management of The Living End. I run The Living End Official Fan Page on Facebook, and started this page with the purpose of sharing it on Facebook to raise some money for Rae and Sayo.

How will the funds be spent?
Rae and Sayo will be using any money donated as emergency funds to get them through until insurance money comes in, short-term. Long-term, as detailed in one of the updates, their insurance coverage won't be enough so it will also assist in rebuilding their lives. 

They will use the money for clothes, toiletries, food, emergency accommodation, transport. 

How does the money get to Rae and Sayo?
Go Fund Me works with Stripe, and payments come through to me on a rolling basis. These payments will then be immediately transferred to Rae and Sayo via bank deposit.

In the interests of clarity and legitimacy, I'll have all of the transactions independently verified.
