This weekend has put so much strain on all of us and only added to a problem that Radiance Wellness Spa was already facing due to closures from COVID19.  
Though protests started out as peaceful expressions of injustices, looters took advantage of the opportunity and struck many businesses including 
Radiance Wellness Spa.  Smashing through a glass door and scavenging for items to steal, they left  a physical and emotional trail of destruction. They got away with computers and inventory that included jewelry and crystals (inventory and personal items are not covered by insurance) but more importantly they violated their fellow citizens in the name of violence. 


Due to COVID19, Radiance Wellness Spa  has been shut down since March 17th, 2020. With little to no income coming in these past months, they were already struggling. Radiance is run by mother-daughter Diana Ralys and Kristina Vystartaite (my son Matthew's girlfriend of over 10 years). This wonderful,  family owned business that was created to be a place for healing is now broken. We don’t know when this wonderful little sanctuary, in the heart of the Santa Monica will be able to operate again.
