Paul Spendiff, Depot Manager at Howdens, alongside Chris Rogers, Area Cluster Manager, are stepping far outside the comfort zone and straight into one of the toughest fitness events around — HYROX — all in the name of charity.

HYROX is a gruelling indoor fitness race combining running with intense functional workouts, designed to test strength, stamina, and mental resilience. For Paul and Chris, the challenge isn’t just about physical endurance — it’s about pushing limits for a cause that matters.

Both have been training relentlessly, balancing demanding roles at Howdens with early mornings, tough workouts, and a shared determination to make a difference. Their commitment reflects the same teamwork, drive, and leadership they bring to their roles every day.

By taking on HYROX, Paul and Chris are aiming to raise vital funds and awareness for their chosen charity, proving that with dedication and teamwork, extraordinary things are possible — both in and out of the workplace.
