Racing for Reggie

Hello guys!

My name is Laura and I have decided to embark on probably the hardest physical challenge I will ever do. On June 1st 2025 I will be taking on the Cotswolds 113 half Ironman. This Ironman consists of a 1.2 miles swim, 56 mile bike ride and a half marathon to finish!

I would love to raise some money for The Reggie Kubi Tribute Fund. This fund was created in memory of my wonderful brother-in-law that sadly lost his battle to a very rare cancer in March 2024, Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. The Reggie Kubi Tribute Fund has been set up by my incredible sister to support The Christie Hospital in Manchester. The Christie Hospital is the only UK referral centre for patients with ACC with an active clinical research programme. Any promising research found by The Christie is shared countrywide.

Reggie was the light and laughter to all of our lives and this challenge isn’t just to raise money to help save people’s lives but to keep Reggie’s legacy going strong like he deserves.
