#racetoend2020 - for Bread for the City

Tax deductible
Ten of us are participating in a socially-distanced half-marathon #racetoend2020 on December 19th, organized informally and locally in Hyattsville, Maryland.  We are a group of athletes that includes experienced and first-time half-marathoners!  (Extra love to the first-timers.)  We plan to end the year on a positive note no matter what and to have a 2020 challenge that -- unlike some of the other obstacles faced this year!  -- makes us happier, healthier, more connected and more supported and supportive of each other in this challenging time!

Want to join us in making a difference?  As part of our race experience and to increase our connection to the community, and to draw on and spread inspiration and hope, we are raising money to benefit BREAD FOR THE CITY INC.  Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much.  We are inspired by the staff of Bread for the City -- including one of our racers! -- and by Bread's clients, our neighbors, that push through even when times get tough.

More information about BREAD FOR THE CITY INC: The mission of Bread for the City is to provide vulnerable residents of Washington, DC, with comprehensive services, including food, clothing, medical care, and legal and social services, in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.
