Rebecca was a loving mum, a loyal friend, and someone who brought warmth, strength, and kindness to the people around her. Her passing has left an enormous space in the lives of everyone who knew her — but most of all in the lives of her kids, Kayla, Kyan, and Alyssa.

As friends, we want to come together to do something practical and meaningful in Rebecca’s memory — something she would absolutely have been doing herself if she were still here.

We are raising funds primarily to pay for driving lessons for Kayla. This is an important step towards her independence and future, and it’s something Rebecca would have wanted to support and be part of. While we can’t replace her mum’s presence, love, and guidance, we hope this can be one way of helping Kayla move forward with confidence and opportunity.

In addition to Kayla’s driving lessons, we also want to support Kyan and Alyssa with other needs they may have during this difficult time. Whether it’s educational, emotional, or practical support, our goal is to help them in the same loving way Rebecca would have.

To raise the necessary funds, a group of us are taking on the challenge of running either a 5k or a 10k race in Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park on Saturday, 2nd May 2026. We’re committed to doing our part to honor Rebecca’s memory and support her children, and we would be grateful for any support or encouragement you can offer along the way.

Losing a parent so suddenly is devastating, and no young person should have to face that alone. Our hope is that, through the kindness of friends, family, and the community, we can give Kayla, Kyan, and Alyssa some comfort and show them just how loved and supported they are.
