In 20 weeks from now zoe and I will be taking part in the Hyrox held in Manchester for MacMillan cancer support, we are looking to raise money for this in the hope to make a difference. My little sister Flo has recently been fighting this battle and would like to tell everyone her story and how something like this can really change your life for both yourself and your friends and family.

“ During the past 18 months I have struggled with anemia,sickness and night sweats and never knew why. Early may this year I had a large lump come up on my neck, this resulted in me having a biopsy and scans. I was then diagnosed with stage two Hodgkin lymphoma cancer in my neck and chest. At first I didn’t want to believe it and kept telling myself that it wasn’t true but soon enough my days turned into hours at the hospital having chemotherapy. Everything had changed. My appearance had changed and having a social life became very difficult. Losing my hair was the hardest part and I didn’t feel like myself anymore, i didn’t want to be seen by anyone but I have learnt how to be confident and comfortable with the changes. I would watch my friends be able to go and do the things I can’t do anymore and I would often feel alone. Though my friends have always been here for me, it’s hard to feel like you fit in. I have recently finished my fourth round of chemotherapy. MacMillan and the nurses at the children’s hospital have been amazing support for my family and I. Any donations would be greatly appreciated by Maya, Zoe and I . We would love to be able to give back to MacMillan for what they have done for us and many others who are living with cancer “ - Flo stone ️
