The RA Memorial Surf Contest is in loving memory of Robyn Ayton.

Each year our goal is raise funds to donate to a charity of the Ayton family's choice.

This year, we have decided to donate any and all funds raised through the Robyn Ayton Memorial Surf contest to Nick Zontos.

Nick was shockingly diagnosed with Leukaemia in May of last year; and has since undergone an excruciating bone marrow transplant, as well as four intensive rounds of chemotherapy.

Getting the diagnosis just after the birth of his second child, Ziggy, had been especially challenging for him and his family. Nick, normally a roofer, hasn’t been able to work a day since the diagnosis. His immune system is so weak, one trip to Coles could send him back to the hospital, where he’s already spent 100 days since his surgery.

All money donated to Zontos will help support him, his wife, Morgan, and his two young children in everyday costs of living, which are hardly manageable under government payments. The extra funds would help alleviate much of the stress they’re under in raising two kids, while Zontos continues to undergo medical treatments. His fight is far from over.

We really ask all those that can to find whatever you can afford and support this young family and make life a little easier for Nick.
