Imagine the joy on a young child’s face when they get to experience a fun day out: the smiles and laughter, the wonder in their eyes. For some families, this feels impossible. There are many reasons why parents may not be able to manage a day out, but we at Family Support Derbyshire want to break down those barriers and make it happen.

This summer, we are offering the families we’re supporting in Derby and Derbyshire a special day out to Gulliver’s Kingdom. We estimate that around 40 babies and young children will benefit from this opportunity. Our staff and volunteers will be there to support any families needing a bit of extra help to manage the trip and, because admission and transport are fully funded by Family Support Derbyshire, no one has to miss out.

Why is this trip important?
