Sister

Hi, my name is Carolina, I’m trying to raise money to help my older sister Veronica, she has an auto immune disease called Antiphospholipid syndrome which causes blood clots to form within the arteries, veins, and organs as well as miscarriages. She has been fighting this horrible disease for almost 20 years and needed to have 2 open heart surgeries to removed blood clots from the lungs and her heart and a miscarriage . She takes blood thinners every day since she got diagnosed but unfortunately they haven’t prevented her from forming new clots cause her disease is very aggressive. Last week she was admitted to the Hospital once again cause she was feeling short of breath and chest pain , and we got the terrible news that she has had a new pulmonary embolism, and the blood clot is in her pulmonary artery and is affecting the heart. They are keeping her there to try to stabilize her but they can’t remove the clot because it will be too risky to have another procedure done. This money will be use to help her with medical bills once that she leaves the hospital and also to be able to move closer to the hospital to continue her care and be closer to family members that can help take care of her.
