Hi my name is Petra and I am renovating a house to make a home for my family. I have 2 boys aged 12 and 4. I would help anyone if I could, and have donated to many fundraisers to help others so maybe this could work. It is extremely difficult for me to ask for help so this has taken a lot!

I would love to be able to work more to afford this or increase my loan but neither of those is an option right now, (I have an ongoing autoimmune disease that limits how much I can work).

We have got so far as a new roof on one area and a new wall at the back of the house with a brilliant builder for a few weeks. But now we have hit a wall that the loan I took to cover the costs is almost gone and everything has cost a huge amount more than we thought! Also so many parts we thought would be a small fix need total replacement, (the floor is completely rotten including the supporting timbers).

So we are hoping to carry on with this and get into our home soon! Right now we are about to get cladding for the walls. We still need to put up internal walls and plaster them and hopefully paint them, plumb and wire the whole house, get a bath, cooker and washing machine and replace the floors that have been taken up. There's probably more than that too but right now it just doesn't seem possible and I am making myself ask for help.
