Help the Awesome Aceitunas Bar Staff

For those of you that haven't heard, an ordinance is currently in place to shut down local bars for the next 14-30 days because of the contagious nature of COVID-19.  It may last even longer than that.  I have been speaking with Rak, Alton and Madison and they were expressing their concerns about what their employees will do during this trying time.  They have gone over the logistics and the earnings for the past couple of weeks that Aceitunas has been open.  Should you choose to donate, this will hopefully keep their wonderful staff afloat during these hard times ahead.  The closure was unexpectedly forced rather than planned and prospective employment in their field is currently nonexistent.  I'm worried about my people that I love!

I can speak from experience as someone who was in the service industry.  I looked forward to a shift and counted on the tip money from that day, rather than my paycheck.  Living shift to shift is the norm in the industry.  A closure without warning of any type has the potential to cripple anyone's financial stability.  

People in the bar industry may have a hard time recouping from this.  There may be other options for assistance but the thought that has come to my mind, is that we need to take care of those that have taken care of us for so many years ASAP! Let's think about all the great times we've had and the 18 employees that have worked so hard to help us do that.  This money is not to help the business itself, but will go directly to the staff.

Kindness is also contagious and for those of you that choose to help, your kindness will not go unnoticed.  Alton, Rak and Madi will have an "Exclusive V.I.D. Party" (Very Important Donor ) when restrictions are lifted and business is allowed to resume.  Thank you for your time, every little bit helps and I look forward to seeing you at the V.I.D. Party!
