Isabelle's Peru Expedition!

Hi my name is Isabelle, I am 14 (soon to be 15) and I'm am fundraising to embark on a ONCE IN A LIFE TIME school trip to go and visit Peru, in South America for 3 weeks in July 2025!

I am extremely grateful I have been given the opportunity to have this wonderful experience. My expedition will be 3 weeks long, visiting different parts of Peru (including a trek to the Inca city of Machu Picchu!), experiencing different cultures and communities along the way.

During my time in Peru, me and my peers will be hoping to improve the quality of life for the local communities by providing de-worming treatment for livestock to support their livelihood. Also we will be helping to build healthcare centres and public toilets for the local people of Peru to improve their quality and cleanliness of life.

We are hoping to help to build a school, allowing the local children to have access to a safe and clean environment to learn and enjoy school.

Over the next 12 months, I will be fundraising as much as I can for the trip. This trip will mean I have to step out of my comfort zone, which will really help me to work on my confidence an self esteem.
