Katie Whitehead Rutledge dropped off her Five-month -old son, Adam Barnes, today as she had to work at McDonalds. The most difficult thing for a mom happened as Katie received the horrific news that her son would not be coming home. Tuesday, March 7, daycare found Adam nonresponsive.
Every mom's worst nightmare is coming true for Katie. Please pray for this family as they are trying to process that they will never hear Adam giggle nor see his lovely smile again.
I have know Katie ever since she was in preschool and I know first hand that Katie always put forth 110% to be successful at her job. I also know Katie loves her family and would do anything for her kids.
Now she is faced with having to bury her baby boy; no parent should ever have to do that.
As this nightmare continues it only gets worse as they make arrangements for baby Adam. Just like many young families, surviving paycheck to paycheck; therefore they are going to be experiencing great financial hardship. Please help me help this young family as they say goodbye to their baby.
