This is something I never thought I would do. As we got closer to closing on the house things took a hard left. I am short to cover my closing and moving costs. Since friends offered to help (I am extremely humbled) I took their advice to set this up. As most of you know I had a messy divorce and am supporting my son and myself on an entry level salary. The idea of a home was not even in my mind. I went to a home fair in the spring and found out it was possible. So I have been working on this for a long time and just waiting for a house that fit our needs. Of course one came up after vet bills, new tires and just before I had major surgery. I am strapped, and just not able to do this without help. It kills me that this is where I am. But , here we are. A fence awaits my dogs so I no longer have "freedom runs" chasing after my deaf dog who is quite hard to catch. I really don't know what else to say. Rebuilding is hard. Finding my footing post divorce and post COVID has been a struggle. I will be unable to lift and move things until after September and if this does pan out then I will need to hire someone to help. My timing has never been great.
