Last night my mom and I learned that our beloved granddaughter and niece would be undergoing brain surgery today.  Due to the current custody order we were not able to be there and have no idea how she is currently doing.  We are asking for your help in making our family whole again and healing the holes in our hearts.  

My beautiful sister, the mother of these two precious babies, Isis 11 & Cora 9, has struggled with mental health issues and addiction since she was 17.  In February of last year she had a car, a job, a boyfriend and partial custody of her two girls.   By March she had lost it all.  She had a psychotic episode that required her to be institutionalized, twice.  We learned that her addiction has been her way of self medicating undiagnosed and untreated mental health issues from when she was a teen.  During this vulnerable time their father decided to file for primary custody of the girls.  My sister was not able to appear in court.  He was granted primary custody and my sister was ordered to fulfill a myriad of requirements in order to begin supervised visits, including undergoing a mental health assessment from a specific Dr costing upwards of $7000.  Despite our best efforts to support & encourage my sister she has not been able to complete the requirements and is not currently able to work.   The girls father has never been supportive of our family.  He has been abusive and manipulative.  My sister ended their relationship because of his abuse.  She then went to live with my mom.  My mom has been coparenting with her since then.  I was at both girls births and have cared for them as my own.  We are now seeking legal counsel to file for Grandparents visitation Rights.  This has been a difficult decision but we know these girls NEED US.  We have met with a lawyer well versed in Grandparents Rights but the cost for his services is going to cost  $5-10K.   Despite his best efforts to block our numbers Isis has always found a way to keep in contact.   We haven't seen them since March 2018.  But we've been sharing funny pics and love.   Last night she found a way to call us and asked that we be at the hospital with her during her surgery.  Her father refused.  Our hearts are broken.  We are asking for your help.  First off we need your prayers & loving & healing energy sent to this baby girl.  Please pray she makes a full recovery.  Please pray that she's ok.  Next we need your financial support & help.  If you can't help please share this fundraiser with your community.   We thank you deeply from the bottom of our hearts.
