Baby Jace Rylee Hewitt - Due Date 8/22/2019

My name is Ryan Hewitt & this is my story. When I was 22 I was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer. While recovering in the hospital my blood work also showed that I had Klinefelter's Syndrome which is a contributing cause of Testicle cancer. All my life I imagined when I got married I would have many children. I love children! You can imagine how I felt recovering from surgery & being told most young men with Klinefelter's Syndrome are not able to have children. I recovered & always hoped I would not be in that group & somehow I would be able to have children.  I married my beautiful wife Lindsay in May of 2015. We both wanted children right away. We tried for 3 years, but nothing happened. I knew then that I had to get tested to find out for sure. The test revealed I would not be able to make a baby naturally. Lindsay & I were devastated, but at the same time it made us even more determined to find a way to give birth to a child so we are trying for one! Lindsay's friend shared the name of a fertility clinic that might be able to help us. We made an appointment & are hoping & praying this procedure will bring a child into our life's. Unfortunately the cost of the treatment is very expensive. Like most people living in Santa Barbara after paying rent & car payments there is little left over & with our Insurance covering none of it, you can imagine the financial struggle it is having to turn to fertility procedures with no support from our health insurance. Which is why we are reaching out to our community, friends & family in the hopes you are able to help Lindsay & I enter our fourth round of IUI in the hopes this will be the cycle that turns our family from two to three.
