UPDATE: 06/21/2025-

Enrique is finally HOME...in his eternal home, with Jesus in Heaven.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Enrique,

who died peacefully at home Friday afternoon (06/20/2025). He was ready to go. He had enough fighting pain in his body; It was time for God to call him home.

He is finally in a place where there is no more tear, sadness, nor pain.

His sudden passing has left his family heartbroken and unprepared for the many unexpected costs that come with saying goodbye. We are hoping this GoFundMe will continue to help his family with expenses as they work to honor Enrique and celebrate the beautiful life he lived.

Any donation, no matter the size, will help Shelleen and their 2 daughters, as Enrique was the sole provider. If you are unable to give, sharing this page with others who knew and loved Enrique. UPDATE: 06/14/2025- Enrique is back home.

A word from Enrique’s daughter, Kenya

“God's truly been seeking Dads heart in all of this! It's been a harder couple of days for dad because he's been in more pain. The in home nurse came and installed a catheter to help dad's body drain fluids, per his request- it just caused him a lot of pain sadly but he's okay now.

I ask if you could all be praying for our hearts in it all, especially dad's heart. That it would be supported in and by the word of God❤❤ It's been a lot but I have so much faith no matter what.

Dad heard the voice of God last night at 3am unctioning him to Believe in Him and not doubt. Such an inward journey that he's going on with the Lord!

We are, along with my family praying for miracles!! Dad said that he felt that the Lord would heal him and I know the healing will come, just trusting God's will with whether or not it's here or in heaven ❤️‍

My precious aunts have been over our house everyday to help tend to dad's needs; praying and doing gentle lymphatic massages on all his limps. They're truly angels, but hurting too, so prayers for them would be amazing.

Enrique was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer, which came as a total surprise to the family.

We wanted to start this GoFund me for the Pineda family as they navigate the next steps of treatment for Enrique and to help support Shelleen & their 2 daughters as they step into this next season of life of caring full time for Enrique.

We wanted to anticipate their needs as Enrique is the sole provider for their family and they need all the support they can get, spiritually and financially speaking.

A few months ago, Enrique began experiencing symptoms that they thought were related to a Gl issue. He lost a lot of weight. It turned out to be colorectal cancer. A few weeks later, he ended up at the ER as he was experiencing breathing issues. The cancer spread to his liver and his lungs.

Please join us in prayer that the treatment Shelleen and Enrique chose will completely DESTROY this cancer. Pray that they will seek God in all aspects of the treatments and that God would faithfully and peacefully guide them through it all.

We pray that they would put their faith and trust in our Mighty Savior as we pray for healing. We pray for their hearts and their minds to be sheltered from fear and anxiety and that the the Holy Spirit would whisper encouragement to them every step of the way.

We set up this go fund me to help with living expenses and alternative treatments that they have to pay for out of pocket. Enrique is not physically able to work due to the negative impact the cancer has had on his body.
