My Volunteer Trip to Kenya

This May, I am traveling to Kenya through the Amani Internship program. There, I will be volunteering in several different orphanages playing with the children and assisting the staff members with any task they require. I will be taking photos, working with the children, and determining their psychological development in order to update their adoption records. 

Because Amani is a nonprofit organization, I am attempting to raise the funds to afford such a special experience. The money will be used to fund my travel expenses, my room and board once I am there, and cover the program fee that goes towards the orhpanages themselves. 

This experience will be a life-changing one and it would mean so much to me to be able to help such an amazing cause. I hope that I will emerge a different, more caring person and would be so grateful for the ability to embark on this incredible journey.
