Hi guys Adrian and I are doing a skydive on the 7th September to raise funds for the old bake house a fantastic cause I would greatly appreciate any donations!
Any one who knows me will know how terrified I am of heights so this really is massive for me!
Please read the the following information that is all about the cause.
Very much appreciated
Sarah.
Hi everyone, my name is Maz and I’m the Founder of ‘My Mind Matters (Merseyside) Community Interest Community, and owner of The Old Bakehouse Coffee Shop (Southport). The coffee shop is run by a fabulous bunch of loyal volunteers, who are all passionate about their community and want to give something back.
So, what do with need! We are embarking on plans to develop a Community Recreational space and Artisan marketplace. Situated on the corner of Manchester Road and Zetland. A gem of a spot!
The idea for this development first came about after I opened my Coffee Shop in February 2025. 6 months in, and each day I look out of the window with a vision to make positive change to a piece of unadopted land which is shouting out to be a welcoming community space for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Phase 1 of the project involves a comprehensive planning application, a detailed illustration of the layout, Architect and planning fees, associated legal costs, and that’s just for starters.
We are looking to complete this phase as quickly as possible, so when Sarah Potts told me of her plans to jump out of a plane in support of our cause, I was literally blown over with gratitude. Sarah and her family have been huge supporters of ‘My Mind Matters’ with both Elliott and Maria volunteering at The Bakehouse.
Now we need the communities help to raise the essential funds to bring about our vision. We estimate Phase 1 cost will come to approximately £1800-£2000.
Any support you can give would be gratefully appreciated.
Thank you, Sarah, for helping us raise awareness of our Mental Health CIC. My Mind
