For Marie Curie in loving memory of Auntie Pauline ❤️

This year I am running the Great North Run in memory of my beautiful, beloved Auntie Pauline, who passed away in October. Over the last ten years she fought a long, hard battle against cancer and is a true inspiration.

In one of the last conversations I had with her, I told her I would run to raise money for a charity of her choice, she chose Marie Curie who provided her with the most amazing palliative care and ensured that in those last few weeks she was surrounded not only by family who loved her, but by nurses who gave her comfort and lifted her spirits.

Now it's time to fulfil her wishes! Any donation, no matter how small would be greatly appreciated. This money will go towards ensuring that Marie Curie can continue to provide this amazing care to other families who need it.

More information about Marie Curie: Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone. And we push for a better end of life for all by campaigning and sharing research to change the system.
Marie Curie is a charity working across the UK and we need your support to do our vital work.
