Our mission trip to Peru!

As most of my friends, family and colleagues, already know, in May 2016 I was fortunate enough to join forces with Healing the Children Foundation and Dr. David Hoffman, to visit Neiva, Colombia as part of a medical mission trip. Our team of over 70 medical professionals - including nurses, dentists, oral surgeons, plastic surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, pediatricians, and all in between - worked countless hours, day and night, performing surgeries and screening patients. This experience was life-changing, to say the least, and is something I have vowed to do for as long as I can. I was beyond touched by the patients we treated, and the gratitude they expressed, providing not only complex but simple medical procedures. I was able to see how fortunate I truly was and the experience has only made me want to give more of myself to such an amazing cause and help change the lives of others.

This year we are traveling again to Peru. We humbly ask for any donations to help pay for supplies to treat the children. Excess donations will be DIRECTLY donated to the foundation, as well as the patients and their families in the form of food, clothing, and any other basic necessities we take for granted every day!
