Let's try to give the Walkers a very special gift this holiday. The father works two jobs but due to a few tough breaks they no longer have a place to call home. Cheri with the Poor People's Economic Human Right's Campaign was able to find them temporary emergency shelter throught the city, but it requires that they stay separate, and the father (who Cheri speaks very highly of) wants nothing more than to be with his kids.

Knowing how giving our community is, I told her we would raise some money to help this family find a home so that they can stay together. This is a dad who works hard and who needs a bit of help to put a roof over his children's heads. $1500 should allow them to afford first, last and security on an apartment. Let's make it happen, so that we can deliver this family a tremendous gift this holiday season.
