Quinn's bags of hope for families affected by babyloss

In October 2006 I lost my first baby to a chemical pregnancy Tayten, Then April 2010 I was pregnant and had a tiny bleed, after an emergency scan we found out that there was no heartbeat, I still remember those words "There's no heartbeat" echoing in my head and my heart breaking, I was totally devastated we had so many plans for this precious baby.

Even more devastating though was the fact that even though we had the ultrasound we wasn't offered the photo & didn't have anything tangible to acknowledge our precious baby Teagan, 

It was then that my partner brought us a personalised teddy bear we found this helped with our grief.

I along with my family's support started Bear for an Angel to be able to offer teddy bears to other families affected.

After another few losses & families getting in touch with us I realised that there wasn't much out there for families like ours who have lost babies early on in pregnancy, 

In 2017 after my 5th loss baby Quinn I started making up little bags of keepsakes and was determined to get them into hospitals, they werr named Quinn's bags of hope, with (bereavement midwife) Ali Brett's support I managed to get them into Ipswich hospital,

With us supporting hospital epau's, funeral directors and families in the UK directly.

Each keepsake bag costs around £2.50 to make up and us only being a small team, we need as much support as possible to keep this resource running.

Quinn's bags of hope are a small gift but mean so much to the families like ours, they offer acknowledgement and comfort at such a devastating time, therefore they are so important & in much demand.
