Wir sind der Marzipahngarten e.V., ein Wagenplatz als Safer Space aus Queers und BIPOC, angesiedelt in Berlin-Marzahn.

Wir bauen hier im Randbezirk wichtige Infrastrukturen von queers für queers auf. Das Gelände, welches der Marzipahngarten e.V. selbstorganisiert verwaltet und belebt, ist ein unkommerzieller Ort für eine Community, die davon bedroht ist, zwischen Gentrifizierung und Rechtsruck zerrieben zu werden.

Damit stehen (oder besser: parken) wir für ein selbstbestimmtes und gemeinschaftlich organisiertes Miteinander und bieten einen sicheren Raum für Kunst, Kultur, individuelle und gemeinschaftliche Entfaltung, der in dieser Form noch all zu häufig fehlt.

Wir stehen gerade vor der Herausforderung unser genutztes Grundstück zu erschließen und vor allem den Brandschutz zu gewährleisten, um eine längerfristige Perspektive hier zu haben. Dafür brauchen wir eure Geldspenden.

In enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Bezirk, der Besitzerin des Grundstücks und Brandschutzingenieuren, erarbeiten wir Maßnahmen um die Vorgaben, Bedingungen und Wünsche aller Beteiligten zu erfüllen. Was das konkret heißt, klärt sich in den nächsten Monaten mit der Entstehung des Brandschutzkonzepts.

Allerdings sind wir uns jetzt schon sicher, dass wir dies nicht ohne Hilfe stemmen können. Mögliche Szenarien sind das Umbauen und Anpassen der Feuerwehrzufahrt, das Verlegen einer Trockenstegleitung über mehrere Grundstücke, ein Brunnenbau oder oder oder ... teuer wirds auf jeden Fall.

We are Marzipahngarten e.V., a safe space made up of queers and BIPOC, located in Berlin-Marzahn.

We are building important infrastructure by queers for queers here in the outskirts of the district. The site, which Marzipahngarten e.V. manages and animates in a self-organized way, is a non-commercial place for a community that is threatened by being crushed between gentrification and a shift to the right.

We stand (or rather: park) for a self-determined and communally organized coexistence and offer a safe space for art, culture, individual and communal development, which is still all too often lacking in this form.

We are currently facing the challenge of developing our used property and, above all, ensuring fire protection in order to have a long-term perspective here. We need your donations for this.

In close cooperation with the district, the owner of the property and fire protection engineers, we are developing measures to meet the requirements, conditions and wishes of all parties involved. What this means in concrete terms will become clear over the next few months as the fire protection concept is developed.

However, we are already certain that we will not be able to do this without help. Possible scenarios include rebuilding and adapting the fire department access road, laying a dry pipeline across several properties, building a well or or or ... It will definitely be expensive.
