Queer CSA Scholarship

In an effort to help create a more just and equitable food system my farm TransGenerational Farm is putting together a scholarship fund to provide healthy food for those who can't afford it. I would like to raise enough money to provide 5 CSA shares to queer/trans/poc individuals who can't afford the full share price. The beneficiaries of this found will be selected through an application process and will be chosen by a diverse group of folks not directly connected to the farm. My CSA shares cost $500 a piece but I am willing to put forward $500 of my own to achieve this goal so therefor I am trying to raise the additional $2,000 to provide these five shares at no cost to the recipients. in order to plan the shares and have time to make the selection of the recipients before the star of the distribution season i need to secure the funds by May 1. Any additional funds beyond $2000 will be used to provide more shares for those who cannot afford them.
